Last fall I picked up a cross-slice of tree trunk (called a 'cookie') and began leaving food out on it in an attempt to attract some local wildlife, for photographing and for something to distract me from my lack of job. Over the months I've had lots and lots of critters visit my cookie and munch on the food: sparrows, blue jays, chickidees, cardinals, squirrellellels, crows, wabbits, "snow birds", geese and ducks (the rabbit has been named, 'Little Bigwig'). Maybe you'll be lucky enough to see your species here!
This is just a tiny sampling of the hundreds of pictures I've taken. All pictures were taken with my Nikon D50 and Sigma 70-300mm f/4-5.6 APO DG lens.
