As someone who has owned and built their fair share of LEGO sets, I can relate.
My most recent was the Technic McLaren Senna GTR; it was a gift for a friend and took me four hours to build start to finish. I had to build it for him because the set alone has over 800 pieces, and LEGOs were just simple bricks back in his day.
