I get to his enclosure near the last after I did all the mouse eating birds. Usually there is a leftover he can nom on.

Sadly winter is coming though and he'll have to come hang out on his inside perch cause he gets cold... and shivers. D:

He is awesome. I can talk to visitors about him by his enclosure and he'll come over and walk around and act all Vulture like for me. :D

I'm not sure what had happened to him in the past, I know one of his wings won't stretch out all the way so it was probably broken at some point. He was transferred to us from another rehab center about a year ago long before I started working there.

They make way too many things out of turkey these days. Turkey ham, bacon, hot dogs and now, vultures. Will it ever end? Also, will Lurch eat spam if it's carved into the shape of a mouse?

It seems the Turkey vultures always seem to have nifty names. Lurch, Elvira, Socrates, Casey are some of the ones I know off the top of my head :)

Yea, Turkey Vultures aren't very strong fliers but man they can soar those thermals on a few flaps for hours.
