It makes me wonder then about Tsenaya's relationship then. Does she want to be like her mom? Is he just using Tesnaya for his own pleasure or as a way of having something over her mother? Or is he simply a generous servant, 'servicing' everyone in the family?
It seems to be a semi-common trope with certain kinds of very influential characters, when said person reaches a point of holding so much power that they can more or less decide other people's "fates", sometimes the most trilling thing that powerful individual can do is to give that same power to someone else and too be on the submissive/receiving end for a time. I'm not sure how often it actually occurs in reality, as I've only really seen such scenes occur in fictional media and stories, but it's an interesting situation none the less.
