The soft rustle of wings in the night sky.
The gentle sound of pawsteps.
Gerda glides along the ground like a light shadow. She descends into our world every night, bringing in her paws the light of distant stars.
As a caring mother, she protects the stars, many of which she created herself. Gerda hid them in the most hidden corners of the universe so that they would grow and gain strength in peace and quiet.
Every day Gerda visits the stars, listens to their stories and songs. To return to earth again at night, and bring these stories along with the starlight to us.
