barely any highways have lights hear, unless theyre super close to one of the few big-ish cities! our friend visiting from florida was very surprised when a two-lane highway didnt have any lights here

I was surprised the first time I was far enough away from Chicago to not see the lights on the highways too.

to me a lighted highway feels a little odd! XD

I used to love this kind of scene. Especially in the rain when the head and tail lights reflect off the surface of the road. Like the rolling terrain along the interstates in PA or CT. Lately I think I prefer roads like these linked below. They take me to interesting places.

Dude. I. Freakin' love this piece!!! IT really speaks to me, because I love driving, especially long distances, just at dusk. Like. I don't know why, I know it's just meant to be a simple li'l pic, but this just really strikes a chord with me, how spot on you got the atmosphere, the lightening just over the horizon, the distant twinkling lights of civilization, and the almost Christmas-like string of tail lights and headlights. It's a sight I never get sick of 8D
