Neat picture! Do you remember, from back in the '60s, the General Electric Quadruped Transporter, the "Walking Truck"? It looked vaguely like this, but lacked the extra-cool touch of steam power.
(Personally, I think that the ultimate vehicle of tomorrow will probably be... the horse.)
