It's what I was learned in, and too stuborn to change.

I used to be like that, too stubborn to leave 3DS, but then I discovered Blender :3 not only is it free, but you can do everything that 3DS can... plus you dont have ramifications if legal issues arise to your ownership of licenses >>

Yeah, that was the whole stubborn thing I was talking about... I'm a little behind the curve being that I'm still using 3ds Max 9, work long hours in a job far removed from art and animation, have no idea what's in the more modern Max's, and am very much aware of all the things Blender can do... I'm probably the only one that uses it, too, so I'd probably be pigeon-holed into working alone on everything, if I wanted to or not... Maybe I'll put the modeling on hold and check it out.

Its what I already do, I want to be a game developer but theres really not that many interested in it to put serious effort into it some Im left doing everything on my own. Either way Blender has some promise, its like 3DS9 but you can do so much more as well
