Hornet was arguably one of the best bosses in Hollow Knight, as well as one of the most important ones in my opinion. Any good Soulslike always has one boss that, after the player's meant to have learned the fundamentals of how to fight and win against various types of opponents, serves as a test of the player's grasp of those lessons by combining them under pressure -- and the Daughter of Hallownest handily fills that role.
Plus, she's got an awesome track on the OST. I'm a sucker for really good music.
