I forgot I had taken a picture of him with my phone...

Anyways, since I was a teeny little kid, when Balto first came out in '95ish, I've always wanted to go to NYC to see the statue. Well, yesterday I had the chance!

 emmajen took me out to the city, feel bad for her doing that cuz she was so tired... But it was fun. We headed to go to the zoo, but I thought Balto was a bit further away from that. Then I looked at a map. It was a bit out of our way. Not too bad, though. Maybe 100 yards... Anyways, we come over a hill and off into the distance I see the statue. My eyes got wide. I looked at Emma and was like, "It's Balto!" and proceeded to walk to him.

Finally after 15 years my childhood dream came true. I even got up onto the rock and petted him. :D Emma has a pic of that, I'm gonna steal it from her. Yesterday was so much fun. After seeing Balto, I was happy! I felt like a kid again. I couldn't believe it. He's so much bigger in person! Gosh, I love New York!
