Artist  Bryan_Ness_3 (Toby Komi) made the Sonic character meme but with Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong going to Taco Bell.

He inspired me a lot to draw Dixie Kong going shopping at a flea market in Mexico (Tianguis), the flea market in the photo I think is from Acapulco Guerrero, but it looks the same as the flea markets in Guadalajara Jalisco or Tizayuca Hidalgo. I originally thought of a street taco stand (glory to the average Mexican), but couldn't find any good photos.

I think fried plantain is something that happens in almost all of Latin America, in each region they have their own way of preparing it, some put cheese on it, but I have only tried it with burnt cajeta, condensed milk or jam, BUT eating it without anything is already delicious per se
