"35 years back in the timelines, year 821, Herman got called to Greycanyon Keep for service to the Crown and the Church of the Circles.
When Herman first came to the Greycanyon Keep he met Ann-Louise, daughter of the at the time Knight-Lord of the Keep. Even though she were of a much nobler origin, they quickly fell in love, and little resistance were heard of about the early wedding between the two that took place year 825. Herman even became a good friend to the Knight-Lord and the family and got considered a valuable soldier and honorable man within the Keep.
Five years into the marriage they got sent to the Xalan fronts by order of her Majesty the Avatar Queen of Ithilien along with many other Greycanyon knights.
Ann-Louise and Herman were unfortunatly unable to have children due to their differences.
Ann-Louise died after two years and two weeks at the frontlines, killed by two Xalan arrows in her chest, falling in battle with several other Greycanyon knights.
Herman and the remaining Greycanyons got recalled by their Knight-Lord, primarily to recruit and train more soldiers, but also to give Ann-Louise a chance to be burried within the Keep's graveyard by her father, the Knight-Lord."
