I always loved those big poofy haircuts, though i imagine they were probably a huge pain to maintain. I wanted to practice some creases and cloth drawing stuff, though i really do need to look into the kinds of clothes people actually wear since i kind of have no idea what fashion is i guess you can just kind of make it up though. If you know any good reference sites or books for that kind of thing id appreciate it

As far as clothing goes, I usually just search certain clothing styles (like techwear or something) on a site like Pinterest and look around for anything that seems interesting. Part of the issue's that I don't even know what styles of clothing are out there, I guess. It might just be a matter of searching for things in really broad terms until you find something you like.
For what it's worth, I really like the clothing (and everything else) in your drawing here, the creases and folds seem very natural.

Ah yeah, pinterest is a good shout, i didnt think of that. Its kind of built for that whole collection-of-similar-images thing that a reference book would be. I did some snooping around after posting and found this ( http://oh-hi.info ) website thats seemingly a bunch of pictures taken from just walking around public places which is almost exactly what i was looking for. Theres some pretty kooky outfits in there mixed with the more normal everyday stuff. Still no idea what any of its called though
Thanks, by the way, that means a lot coming from you.

Thanks for linking that site, there's some great reference on there. I struggle a lot to think up more natural poses sometimes (since a lot of the ones I normally look at on sites like Posespace are sorta more gesture-y), so it's useful from that point of view as well. I wonder who it was who took those pictures, and where they were taken.
