Kitty: Alright, everyone. Since Group C's Wild Card, the Snapping Turtle, has lost the Duel, He's sadly gonna have to be unmasked, and sent back to his universe.
Cadence: That's too bad.
Terry: Yeah! And he just got here, too!
Kitty: I know, but that's how the game works. So, before we get to the unmasking, let's take a peek at the panel's first impression guesses for him.
*The TUFF Troopers head down into the underground vault, and retrieve the first impression guesses for the Snapping Turtle. They return to the stage with them, and Kitty begins to read each one.*
Kitty: Alright. The first impression guesses for the Snapping Turtle are as follows...
Terry's first impression guess: Eddie "Skate" Hunter from "Streets of Rage"
Cadence's first impression guess: King Shark from DC Comics
Chick's first impression guess: Mondo Gecko from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Stew's first impression guess: Michelangelo from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Fred's first impression guess: Mr. Shark from "The Bad Guys"
Isabelle's first impression guess: Mr. Shark from "The Bad Guys"
Kitty: Well, that about does it for the first impression guys. Let's see who's right, as we...
Everyone: TAKE IT OFF! TAKE IT OFF! TAKE IT OFF! TAKE IT OFF!
Snapping Turtle: (reaching for part of his shell, and unclipping it)
*With help from a few TUFF Troopers, the Snapping Turtle removes his shell, along with the head that was attached to it. He then reveals himself to be Streex, one of the Street Sharks.*
Kitty: I don't believe it! It's one of the Street Sharks, Streex!
Streex: HA HA! Fooled you, didn't I?
Cadence: I'll say you did!
Fred: I never suspected that another Ninja Turtle knockoff would appear on our show!
Streex: Hey, you're lucky I didn't try to devour you, fatso! But then again, my bros and I usually prefer burgers to people anyway.
Chick: What about chicken?
Streex: We're still on the fence with that one, Chick. But I think we'll let it slide for you.
Stew: Oh, what a relief.
Kitty: Anyway, Streex is one of the Street Sharks, a team of mutated shark superheroes who protect the fictional city of Fission City from the evil Dr. Paradigm aka Dr. Piranoid and his army of mutant sea creatures, which are called Seaviattes. In fact, it was that exact mad scientist that mutated the Street Sharks in the first place. Originally, they were the sons of Piranoid's partner, Dr. Bolton, who had gone missing after finding out his secret.
Streex: Yeah, my bros and I thought there was nothing wrong with us until we mutated into our shark forms when we went out for burgers. I turned into a tiger shark, hence the stripes on my body.
Fred: Hmmmmm. Four brothers that were mutated by some unknown substance, and devoted their lives to protecting the innocent. Now, where have I heard THAT before?
Isabelle: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles?
Fred: Of course! Is THAT why you chose to dress up as the Snapping Turtle for our show, Mr. Streex?
Streex: I guess you can say that, fatso. But I chose it because it had roller blades for shoes, which is actually my choice of footwear. Even before my mutation, I was a skilled roller blader no doubt about it. I could skate circles around anybody! ;)
Cadence: Anybody?
Streex: You thinkin' of challenging me, Principal Cadence.
Cadence: Maybe. I DO have merits in the roller derby circuit. 5 time Canterlot City champion. ;)
Streex: Is that so? Well, okay then. Challenge accepted. ;)
Terry: Weren't you also called "Blade" because of your roller skates?
Streex: Yeah, I was. But I decided to call myself Streex because it sounded more extreme. ;D Hey, it was the 90s. Nearly everything had the word "extreme" in it.
Terry: No kiddin'! And I was there!
Kitty: Well, the Street Sharks cartoon was made to sell a line of action figures back then, much like most other cartoons during that decade. Heck, I know my husband has a few in his collection. But knowing this, it kinda makes me wish that TUFF had a line of action figures as well. If so, it definitely would've helped my series get more recognition, and more people outside of DeviantArt would know about its overall existence. ;_;
Streex: (patting Kitty on the back) Hey, don't feel bad. I'm sure you'll get the recognition you rightfully deserve one day. Heck, my show didn't last that long, and my bros still got plenty of recognition as well. Just... not as much as the Ninja Turtles.
Chick: Especially since they laid the groundwork for all those other TMNT knockoffs that came out during that time, especially a few members of those groups DID appear on our show before.
Fred: Kinda like my idea for a TMNT knockoff: Mutant Commando Mastodons From Bedrock. How come Barney and I are the only two people in Bedrock who actually like this series?
Isabelle: Because you lack marketing skills?
Stew: Or because the figures were made from granite and not high quality plastic?
Terry: Or because the story you made to go along with it made no sense?
Fred: You guys aren't helping!
Kitty: So, Streex. What made you decide to come on the Masked Toon Singer?
Streex: Like Chick said, you guys had two members of those TMNT knockoff come on this show in Season 1: Bullzeye of the Extreme Dinosaurs, and Colleen from Road Rovers. I figured I should follow suit, and represent the Street Sharks on this show. I always thought I had music talent in me. I'm really good at playing the drums, and one of our friends that got mutated into another shark was a rock star, so THAT might've influenced me. So, yeah. I just wanted to follow suit, and showcase my musical talents in some fun, unique way.
Chick: Well, it doesn't get much more fun and unique as THIS show!
Stew: It sure doesn't!
Cadence: Well, you've shown us that you certainly have musical talent. If you ask me, I think you've found your second calling alongside fighting crime.
Streex: Thanks, Cadence. And I won't forget that roller derby date! Of course, you're going down!
Cadence: Oh, you're on! ;)
Isabelle: Let's not get too violent, everyone!
Streex: Yeah, sorry Isabelle. I guess we got carried away.
Isabelle: Yeah.
Kitty: But, regardless, it was still quite a surprise seeing a Street Shark grace our stage. And since nobody guessed him right, the score for the running of the Golden Toon Ear Trophy stays as is, with Cadence in the lead. Next time, we'll be having Group D returning, along with the debut of our final Wild Card contestant for Season 5.
Streex: Hopeully, Group D's Wild Card will last longer than I did. ^^;
Kitty: Yeah, I know. But we'll let the voting decide on that. But right now, let's hear it for the artist formerly known as the Snapping Turtle, Streex of the Street Shark! (gives Streex a microphone)
