Hey! That's not very nice! :( Those other water starters won't let the new guy join their group!
hehe, I'd be careful, Piplup, I'm still not used to you either, haha

I figured I'd acknowledge the new pokemon group coming out soon, I haven't really given any thought about them yet :) Anyway, it always takes a while (at least for me) for the new set of pokemon to settle in, and feel like they belong with the other ones :)

True. It's often hard to choose between starters. In fact, I think only one has ever really been a bit poor, which is Chikorita. Just... not as good as the FIRE WOLVERINE and the DEATH ALLIGATOR.
That said, Piplup makes little sense to me...

And well, I'm not a big fan of chimchar, either. I miss getting to pick awesome fire starters hehe, now all we get are fire chickens, fire monkeys, and fire pigs :P

Blaziken was okay... It's a six foot, fighting, fire breathing chicken.

But yeah, nothing will compare to Charizard. Especially since the Shiny form is deep purple, near black...

If I ever get a shiny Charmander, I am naming it Toothless in advance.

I was actually disapointed with all the 4th gen starters and their evolutions but I like the 5th gen water and grass starters a lot.

i see the odderp more dignified than piplup as well, but i guess Totodile and Squirtle can't make it's membership too exclusive.

Yep, and I got one with the absolute max possible attack (nature and those EV IV thingies) in Emerald. But my favorite will always be Blastoise (of the starters not counting Yellow)

Personally, i like mijumaru a lot more than the two previous generation starters...

Squirtle, Totodile and Mijumaru FTW.
Mudkip and the penguin whose name i don't recall are meh :P (Specially mudkip ever since he became a meme)

hehe yea im with ya on this one... I'm not a fan of piplup at all...

Mudkip though is good because of his later ground/water type combo, but I know what you mean about the whole "liek" thing
