I finally get to post Theta's icon, probably my favorite OC even more so than Spktra sometimes.
He's a powerful mysterious metal dragon with tech seemingly too futuristic for the time, but it wasn't always like this (god forbid a character of mine doesn't have a tragic story, Ha). It was once a normal flux fury before the scale hustlers, a group of hunters famous for hunting down and selling products of endangered dragons, managed to find its nest, killing it alongside any it considered family and destroying/stealing most of its body.
Mysteriously, it managed to survive despite being mostly a skinned, torn body. Its determination to survive let it use its power to build itself a weak rock exterior. Swearing to survive and take revenge someday.
With each year it survives, it improved itself, evolving to using wood, then some simple mechanical contraptions to help with movement, until all the way to the current day, 2 centuries later, where its determination to evolve led to it becoming a robotic dragon with advanced tech like none other, with even code and a lab for a cave. What's left of its organic body is the bone skeleton the robot is built on, and some misunderstood code it possesses that changes its behaviors in ways it doesn't understand.
Theta's understanding of its objective evolved over the years as its mysterious ability to stay alive after getting ripped apart became an after thought to its machinery. It became obsessed with evolving and improving its body, slowly becoming an unrecognizable dragon with a menacing black visor glowing its symbol and changing the color based on its "mood" (Something the leftover code from its normal self made it do). But slowly, it craved something else, the slightest possibility of becoming normal again. Attempts to create organic bodies.
In the lab it calls a cave, it attempted collecting dragons and using them for organic construction experiments, which goes wrong and creates amalgamites it calls "Failures", molten monstrosities of tortured and experimental dragons. Usually, any would feel terrible, but Theta's mind was long gone, replaced with codes that want nothing but practicality and progress. It continued its experiments.
Currently, Theta's objective is still to adapt, evolve, and improve, while eliminating any threats to its survival or progress. Its blood-stained armor represents its willingness to do what its code finds optimal, no matter the cost.
When it comes to abilities, Theta is based on reconfiguring. It can reconfigure into a minigun turret, a sniper varient, and a walking artillery. It can reconfigure its paws and tails to work as additional weaponry and scanning.
Don't worry this is the exception to how long I'll write these. Theta is just my favorite and I love talking about it, Ha. He's also one of the only OCs I have that is an actual OC, not a recolored httyd character (I need to stop calling myself out honestly). I have a couple of great pieces from Strikey that I hopeyou'll enjoy of this fella.
And finally, no it is not a Synth, it does have that headshape but its a feral dragon.
