In case anyone is going to take a closer look at this you might want to look to the top of Hack's axe as you would notice it's a dead kitty head...
Ya see on one mission we had to fight this massive mob of domestic cats and afterwards he decided to keep a head of a kitty as a present. Then afterwards we fought this monstorous mole and he chopped off it's head, cleaned it and now wears the skull as a type of helmet/mask.... yeah.. he's odd.
