I'm actually interested if this acronym applies for all Ford models or just their trucks.
I am the... not so proud owner of a 2006 Ford Ranger, built to be the disposable camera of the truck industry, and in use far longer than anyone could've asked it to be without a new engine, and I have had to replace the fuel pump on it twice so far due to water getting in the electronics and shorting it out.
Meanwhile, boyfriend's Flex has over 200 thousand miles and is still going strong, all he does is change/top-up fluids every few months and replace crucial but small parts like the oil filter and burned-out bulbs, really the only quirk I've encountered with it so far is a transmission that likes to lag on the switch from first to second and the AC unit making a mechanical clacking noise when you turn it on, like a part is stuck and is skipping a gear tooth.
That being said, I am very curious on getting a Mustang Mach-E or a F150 lightning, I'm not really interested in other American car companies and the only other car company members of my family uses that I can gauge a proper long-term opinion of is of Nissan and Kia, and the former is not favored unless it is a pre 2010's model, and neither of them have any interesting EVs.

Thinking further back, Family has a '66 Lincoln Continental that ran like a goddamn tank and would handle anything you throw at it, until its drum brakes finally gave out when we were picking dad up from his Singapore trip at the airport in '98, car's been retired in the barn under a sheet since then but should be able to run again with an engine rebuild and cleanup.
We also have an '83 LTD Brougham that had a near-endless slew of problems even BEFORE grandma (Who daily-drove it) was wheelchair bound, the final straw being the V8 engine throwing a piston and putting it out of service sometime in the mid 2000's, thing is a heap and a bad example of the Fox-Body Fords/
A decade or so later, mom's '93 Flareside F150 should be able to start up without a hitch, truck never had a serious problem until the engine started rejecting oil and would try to seize up, rebuilt and reworked that engine and it works like a charm, but we still got the engine from an Ambulance on standby, just in case.
Dad got an '11 F150 Lariat for his 20th anniversary at his workplace, damn truck was a veritable polished-turd that would break down at least once a month and would basically be a regular at the auto shop. Dad zoned out one day and drove that Lariat into the tailgate hitch of another truck, leaving the other truck unharmed but hooking the hitch in a way that it caught the radiator mount and basically took the whole front-end off his truck. Insurance was gonna write the truck off as a total loss but Dad insisted it gets replaced from an XLT of the same model year that got rear ended and has been sitting in the backlot of his workplace since, so they transplanted all the busted parts and now the truck runs shockingly well, no monthly breakdowns and has been going strong ever since.
Fords are very quirky vehicles, I have noticed. They all rattle and shake in the same places you'd expect them to, but if you take care of them, they can last.
Still would probably be a better idea to just get a Toyota or something though.

Yep. I've had a very good run from my Ford Lasers I drove my 89 for 15 years with only one failure to proceed due to something failing in the distributor. That's in the shed now due to needing five new seat belts and some rust removed from the C pillar to pass inspection here otherwise I would still be driving it.
I replaced it with a 93 Laser and the only thing that has gone wrong with it since 2019 is the same part in the distributor failing on that one too.
Although I think a lot of that reliability is because they are both simple cars that have little to go wrong with them ... that and basically being Mazda 323s with Ford badges.
