Just felt like submitting some old drawings from...years ago. <.>; Found 'em in my drawing folder in my room.

This one is from 2007, a homework sketch from my senior year in art class. Forget what the theme was for that week, but obviously it was something serious. Might've had something to do with drawing an outstretched hand or something. So, I ended up drawing something 9/11-themed. Used to have dreams of 9/11, like the aftermath of dealing with the loss and memorializing the victims. Usually I'd have calming, yet sad dreams of candlelit vigils...walking through the streets of NY or my old town...seeing pictures of the fallen on walls or store windows... sometimes on playground equipment...candles and flowers and wreathes surrounding them...

Um, I don't know what else to really say about this sketch. The hand is of someone reaching out towards the framed picture with a taped flower on it, and a lit candle in front of it as well as a rosary beads cross. The people in it? I dunno, I guess maybe victims...a couple perhaps. And the background symbolizes the memory of the Twin Towers on 9/11 and its victims and heroes of that day.

...Yeah, er, it's difficult for me to talk about 9/11...so, I'm just going to leave it as that.
