Wow! First real-ish art in a while! Enjoy!
I drew this back at the start of January and fully intended to draw and colour something like this once a week. Lol. Look how that turned out. Turns out I can’t do art when I am too stressed out about work/financial insecurity (apparently doing my own start-up business was a bad idea without a normal job to keep my savings up). But then I don’t draw when I work 12hrs a day 5-6 days a week but have good income. Lol, there is no in-between. You probably won’t see any regular art from me until I get a stable income/job again. I have applied for a job I really want to do. Fingers crossed that goes well. But then it is back to working out work if not.
I would really like to do art for a living but I am just too slow or get too stressed when doing personalised work for others. Like I do my best, but I fear they won’t like it. I was tempted to offer YCH of these type things, where I would have a blank sketch of an animal of either a portrait or full body and I just add people’s characters marking’s digitally. That way you see what you are getting beforehand so you can’t get mad. But I don’t know. Would that interest anyone? If so feel free to suggest animals and what price you would deem fair for a portrait and full body of something like this.
I am trying to get back into art. We will see how it goes. I have been trying to re-learn and get good at humans of late.
Mid way through this artwork I have also switched back to my old Wacom Intous graphic tablet instead of my Xp-pen display tablet. The display tablet was great for lineart but I preferred doing colours, shading and backgrounds with my normal tablet. So hopefully going back to my Wacom helps me get back into art again too.
We will see how everything goes.
Have a lovely day.
