Hasty breaths were taken as the avali ran, having to weave past trees and some of the larger pieces of foliage, all the while holding his personal rifle with one hand and cradling something to help tip the odds into his and his partner's favor with the other. A break in the tree line would be enough to tell him that the open area was suitable for what was in mind, though had to snap at attention when he heard a roar from close by. One of those shadowy things was here, and yet, just as quickly as it was brought to attention that a shot rang out and a bullet tore through its form, the avali having to aim and fire the rifle with a single hand so as to not drop the other item he held.

With the threat dealt with and his heart racing more than it already was, he turned his attention back to the task at hand, getting a good distance from the trees as he looked to the item in hand. Something that Synal made rather hastily, but should hopefully work for what it was intended to do. Lifting it up slightly, the avali adjusted his grip on the rifle he held, then tightened his grip on the object.

Almost instantly the object shattered, but that wasn't it as the contents of it easily flowed in and through the avali's form and anything else he had. The effects of it would be readily apparent as he saw his perspective change, raising higher while things looked to be moving towards him, but he had been through this before and knew what he was happening. All he would do now is stay mostly still, watching as his surroundings 'dwindled' around him as he surged larger, easily doubling in size in a few seconds each. The rate would be rather dizzying, even holding his now-unoccupied hand to his head since it was making his senses swim but otherwise remained upright, even as his paws were starting to near some man-made constructs, gingerly moving his feet away from them even as he continued growing.

Nearly a minute or so later and he would feel the tingling starting to subside, and with it the growth starting to slow. A bird's eye view of the place, being a more rural area practically suited for farmland, yet just as devoid of anyone else other than him and some of the shadowy creatures that plagued the area. The ones below were too small to worry about, the giant avali instead turning in his spot to face the direction he came. A city off in the distance, and he could still see the form of another of those beasts, yet it was the size of some of the towers there, something that he and the others would have no chance in stopping at their normal sizes.

Adjusting his stance, Alav would easily plant one knee onto the ground and thus down into a crouched stance, raising his rifle up and peered into the scope, the weapon itself thankfully having been upsized along with him. The barrel of it was still smoking from its earlier shot of dealing with the earlier threat, but thankfully it won't obscure his vision as the crosshair would start to line up with the giant monster that was tearing down another building. Once the target was lined up, making sure that nothing was obstructing it, the trigger was starting to be pulled back...

A lovely pic I got from Eclipsis. Tis something they normally don't do, being a male character on the large side, but they have shown interest in giving him a try thanks to the past couple of years. I felt that this pic was the perfect opportunity to do such, and hot damn did they deliver, especially so on the details of it. :D
