Commissioned Ask (FNAF Security Breach)
Okay, so it seems I've once again made an ask outside of the BellHunterverse. This time however, I was commissioned to make this strip by someone that prefers to remain anonymous. This isn't me opening a door to make my blog some sort of crazy...multi-verse juggling act. If it's paid, it's one thing, but again I don't have the or interest right now to be running a Haida and Fenn blog, of a security breach blog on top of my Zoot stuff.
So what's the general story behind this? Well the commissioner's premise was that after the events of 'Security Breach, the remaining animatronics, now free from Afton's corruption, are salvaged by a company outside of Fazbear entertainment to study the rather bafflingly advanced AI they possess. The animatronics are upgraded over the course of several years, to the point where they look like real living beings complete with actual fur and holographic emitters to hide their joint seams. However, in Roxy's case...well if one were to take off her sleep mask, you'd find she is still missing her eyes. Why? Because despite being fully repaired and better than ever, since the incident at the megapizzaplex she's slipped into an even deeper depression, refusing to leave her room out of fear of accidentally hurting others, and fearful that having eyes again will make her once again completely obsessed with herself. Obviously, studying how a robot is even capable of becoming clinically depressed is naturally a huge priority for the foundation to help unravel the secrets of their AI. But I don't think the first question of the research staff's interview has done much to...er...crack any secrets, only managing to send Roxy into that much worse of a depression.
Thanks for the comm Anon!

According to the commissioner, this is after the events of security breach, and the bots have been reclaimed by a government entity for research purposes. Hence there's no kids to entertain, or band to wind up. I imagine she's still have her keytar, and perhaps they'd be permitted to play gigs for the staff for enrichment purposes...but who knows, my commissioner put the idea out and didn't build on it further.
