Anyhow, happy Halloween! And to celebrate, how could I resist dressing Aki up as the dashing and rugged Rick O'Connell?

This picure was about 10 years in the making. And by that I mean only now have I felt myself good enough to do any form of fanart for this influential movie of my youth.

I saw The Mummy when it first got released to video, and that was it. I've seen it almost 100 times (from what I can officially count, I only started tallying inside the dvd case when I got my own copy), and know every line, cue, and sound effect by heart.
By no means to I think it to be the greatest movie ever made, but to me it sure seems that way sometimes.

This is by far my best achievement in lighting and shading, and I hope it only goes uphill from here. Also, that is indeed my name spelled in 100% AUTHENTIC ancient Egyptian Hieroglyphs. Chew on that for a second.
