I may or may not have had a temporary moment of weakness but I can justify this. A: She'll fit perfectly in a project I have for the far future. B: She's adorable.
So, here's Widget. She'll very likely be a sort of quest giver, boss character for my Rena trio for whenever I get around to writing their story.
Constantly connected to the internet and with a near infinite number of hologram screens she's the perfect companion to make any sort of planning and scheduling easier. She's also equipped with a state of the art sass AI core and is not afraid to use it.
I mean there's no better way of getting people to do stuff than blackmailing them right? She's got your browser history and will bully you for it. She's entirely modular and can be easily stored and transported, in theory (Good luck getting her into a box though.).
Her tail and face is made out of state of the art hard light technology and can be adapted for any situation. The heart shaped core in the middle is her central anchor point which her limbs and pieces use as a reference. Don't touch it, she might not have real claws nor fingers but big blunt pawbs are not recommended to take to the face. Can hover around quite freely and walks only for aesthetic purposes. Goes into cat mode sometimes and gets lazy or goes hunting stuff.
