So, Sandslash! I've been further exploring my new and exciting color style, and I have to say, I really like it. I've also been going for more serious poses and compositions lately, not because I've lost interest in the cute, but because I'm just MORE interested in serious stuff at the moment. I'm sure the cute will make a comeback, I'm just not sure when. For now, I'm enjoying this, so I'm going to stick with it. :)
No sad or depressing story with this one, just a Sandslash warming up his battle moves. In this Pokemon's official designs its back plates always face downward, but I like to think they can be flicked up and down at will. They look very thick, so the ability to use them as deflection or as spikes would probably be super useful.
