So if any of you folks out there follow Stephen Colbert or Jon Stewart, then you probably know about their Rally to Restore Sanity and/or Fear held Oct. 30. If not... well, it was just a giant gathering of satirical minded individuals showcasing about politics on the National Mall in Washington DC. for the love that is America.
My original Halloween plans had nothing to do with traveling anywhere near the event, but a really good non-fur friend of mine who puts up with my shenanigans convinced me to go along with a few others.
The road trip alone would have been fun, but pondering for a bit, the event and Halloween weekend in the nation's capital was actually a great excuse to check out some of America's finest sights and sounds as a giant dog with a message.
And thus I present to you all, the Flea Party! Our agendas are not clear and our tactics even less so. All we know is we'll get down to the issues and scratch em out! :D

Here's me promoting the ticket as we're going down the mall towards the rally with the US Capitol Building in the background ^^

actually really really well ^^ Just mobbed at times. I thought at least some kinda security would question me, but there there were Super Mario characters, Waldos, and even a zombie Lincoln to name just a few other oddballs :D The Flea Party has a growing support though! ^^

I can't tell you how awesome it was to see a fursuit at the "Rally to Restore Sanity" yesterday! Kudos to you sir. You posed for a couple of pics, for me, at the Vienna Metro station. If you want them, just shoot me your email and I'll send them along. (though they aren't nearly as cool as this pic you posted)
