Truthfully it kinda wears me down a little that I spend easily 12+ hours creating each comic page and its the teeny tiny bits that are wrong that people focus on LOL But I guess that's just human nature :D

I definitely get that if I was working on something for 12 hours just for people to pick out the mistakes I would be pretty unmotivated

hehe those little coin operated rides were oddly fun as a little kid, seems so silly looking back on it, they barely did anything but i guess as a kid your imagination makes it ten times better than it actually was

Yeah I totally did that bit on purpose......I think we can all agree that the text on this page is a bit of a shitshow...well...More so than usual :D

But but… if the letter can end up not uniform, that means that you are manually coloring all those little letters with like a paintbrush, and that just makes me well with tears of gratitude at all the hidden effort that goes into this! I seriously did not expect that is how it is done!

Actually yeah! I just assumed that Star did the page up, then inserted the typed up letters afterwards. That she even can make this mistake implies that there is so much more here than I realized.

Kudos Star, all the kudos for you and your amazing work.

To elaborate: I just assumed you wrote the words out via keyboard on whatever program you're use (you mentioned possibly switching Clip Studio Paint from Paint tool Sai) and then aligned the words you typed out with the word bubbles. I had never even considered that you were drawing each word. Seriously, above and beyond effort.

What im doing is typing the words out into the comic. then drawing teh speech bubble around them then colouring the speech bubbles and then colouring the words

Fair enough. I don't know enough to offer a real opinion on how to best do it, but I sincerely hope that the way you're doing it isn't needlessly complicated for ya.

Actually it's not okay to be late because patreons expect these pages on Friday. But I DID QC this and fixed a bunch of stuff I just needed to be more through. I've been going thru some stuff and the past 3 pages on here show my art has suffered a bit due to my mental health but this is the last page where that's evident and it gets back to being better quality and more thought out from here so that's good

I enjoy being pretty darn tall (5'11"!) but I admit... I'm sad I can't fit into those little penny rides at the supermarket. I always eye them up when I go shopping somewhere that has one.

I never got to ride one as a real kid and these days im too podgy to get away with it LOL. but yeah I catch myself staring wistfully at them whenever i see one.

I know for me it would be beyond awkward swapping back and forth between scientist finding it fascinating and certain aspect 'elegantly developed' and my timid but excitable and naughty little personality.
