"Be Human" preformed by Scott Matthew
This is a picture of Ezara in a magicless world... Yet he's quite the miracle.
You see, he was one of the first of quite a few experiments to bring the dead back to life. Being one of the first, he wasn't perfect. He lost his memories, his name, everything he was in life - but he was improved.
They genetically and altered him with cybernetics, giving him mechanical implants to replace the parts that simply would not work any more. They called him "Sun Burst" because of the glowing "ports" on the back of his head, his back, his hands and his ankles. (I forgot to make the one on his hand glowy >.> My bad)
When first created, he had no emotion no feeling of right or wrong - he just was. They used him (and several others) to experiment with giving these mechanical revivals emotion. That too had less than the desirable effect.
Some of the "Angels" (as they started to be called) went through such crushing despair and depression that it was practically torture to keep them alive. Some of them became so filled with rage they could have been labeled weapons of war. Ezara... he didn't get either. They experimented with giving him empathy but no emotions of his own.
He was one of the closest they got to having actual human emotion, but it wasn't quite right.
Ezara, over time, started to become more self aware. He started to realized that he was not human, that even though he could feel like a human could he wasn't exact. But the other "angels" weren't quite like him either, they were either completely dead or so over charged with one emotion they became dangerous.
Ever so slowly, the poor little angel started to develop two feelings of his own: Envy and Sadness.
When the scientists realized he was developing his OWN emotions, that he was moving beyond just the empathy, they saw it as dangerous and decided he had to be terminated.
Burial -- who was at the same center for GENETIC experimentation, rather than cybernetics -- had grown fond of the little Angel. He decided that he didn't like the idea of him being terminated so he (somehow) busted him and (I believe) phosphorous_tick's Ferrus out of the center.
AND SO BEGAN HIS SUPAH HERO LIAF
