"I...actually can't lower my arms..."
Last year, I worked on a dragonborn character concept I refer to as the “bound disciple” or the “resistant disciple”. Though now he has a name: Azahi.
He was once an explorer, however he ended up finding a shrine that was dedicated to a creature/deity that was a creature of domination and bondage. With someone discovering this location, they tried to force him into becoming a ‘disciple’ of theirs, locking the articles onto them: robes, cuffs, and sandals.
Despite this, he has tried to resist, and would eventually escape, and is trying to find a way to be completely free of this creature’s influence.
I wanted to try and revisit the design for the heck of it. I like how this turned out, though there are aspects of it that I’m not too sure on.
The fun "secret" to this character is that the articles he wears can be used for bondage, so in this case, his robes are holding him like a straitjacket, hence 'bondage robes'. The muzzle was added for the heck of it.

Am falling in love with this character design. I love so many aspects of this. I think my favorite is that tight robe below the waist. I can imagine it would be really hard to spread your legs and walk anywhere without hobbling. The muzzle and those little D-rings for grabability are wonderful!
before he was a slave, did this character wear footwear?
I think him originally wearing shoes/boots and then transferring over to the open toed sandals would be a nice touch since you'd essentially be removing their shoes to make them more submissive
where as if they were originally barefoot and then forced to wear footwear, it would seem like they are of a higher status of power despite now being helpless
