This one's from a few mondays ago, mostly done in my myth and symbol in film class (lol liberalarts). He turns the lights all the way off while we're actually watching the movies so I can't draw then but I can when I'm listening to him talk about the movie and I'm supposed to be taking notes. I was on this big primate kick for a little while that started because I was drawing manticores and my version of a manticore ended up being pretty much just a chimp with a lion mane and a scorpion tail. I could cut off the tiny bit of tail in this pic and it'd just look like a chimp. Played around with a moe lionlike body, but I wanted him to have hand feet and that just didn't look right on a lion body. This is totally an entire ballpoint pen and the paper was all warped from my furious scribbling so it didn't scan very well but I don't really care because it's cool anyway.
