What originally started as a random sketch of the hat on the bat on the left quickly turned in to a whole range of Postwar inspired doodles.

It was only halfway into doing the bat's body I realized there wasn't enough room for his legs.

The writing is a list of quotes and phrases "written" on the bandages/armband in the top and left images
