After getting busy with life for a while, Crystal and I finally had time to hang out and decided to meet up in the park. Unfortunately, an overly enthusiastic pounce sent my world spinning and it seems she's not going to make it easy to pull myself back together XD;
It's better than being face planted on the grass I suppose...
More fun with the Koikatsu program :D
Feel free to comment ^^

I believe in “Sexy but not Sexual” :D
Just about anything can be sexualized these days and some things fell into a trap of being viewed as only sexual, but don’t have to be.
Just cause they have attractive figures or don’t follow normal dress codes doesn’t mean it has to be sexualized XD.
In a way my entire gallery was created “because” I wanted to see this stuff in a mainstream way as opposed to pure fetish fuel. If I suddenly go nsfw with it, it ruins the entire point of my gallery.

Saying that something that has only happened once is not yet to be considered a serious matter. So once is not enough; once doesn't count. Example: You are actually on a diet and are at an important party, for example your boss's 40th birthday, and he gives you a piece of the birthday cake. Then you don't refuse, but eat the piece, because you can make an exception once in a while. It won't hurt if you eat a piece of cake once even though you're on a diet.
If you can stick to it sure, but other times it's often a slippery slope that people fall down. One beer can lead to becoming an alcoholic, or one slice of cake could lead to binge eating 50+ pounds of food.
Though if a gallery is meant to stay cute and silly, tossing in a some kind of pornographic piece probably would tarnish it a decent amount. Over time people come to expect certain things from certain places and it often times doesn't take much to push people away these days.

One car theft is still a felony :P
And one text message made 2 decades ago is still enough to ruin a career.
But GBS is right, it’s a slippery slope. A single piece of popular art is often all it takes to define an artist in the public view.
And as soon as you have one piece, everyone starts asking for more on the argument “you’ve done it once, what’s one more?”
While I can’t say I wouldn’t mind seeing lewd stuff, I’m not fussed. There is plenty of other of that stuff on this site.
Besides, the opposite happens too. NSFW artists suddenly say “no! I’m not drawing lewds anymore!” They’re justified of course, it’s their art and I respect them for their decisions.
But for a viewer, an artist who never makes NSFW art is less upsetting than an artist who makes NSFW art, and then stops.
