Local street I used to like a lot. It had an interesting collection of street trees. Many were ancient looking gnarled Silver/Sugar Maples, whose roots lifted the decaying sidewalks, probably planted in the 1950s. But many houses had replaced the old Maples with trees of their own choice. Cherry Blossoms, Bradford Pears, Japanese red Maples, etc. There was quite the variety for a number of years. It had a sort of timeless feel to it, like it had always looked that way.
