Nothing like feeling the grass under your feet, Toccata thought to herself. The sun was full and warm, and the breeze was cool and rustled through her fur. It may have only been a small park near her apartment, but with eyes closed she was instantly transported back to the family's horse farm in BC. The apartment buildings disappeared, replaced by trees and distant mountains. She twirled a wildflower in her fingers as she gazed off into the distance. Her life at the moment may have been in the city, but she was a country girl through and through, and always would be.
