This started off as a doodle in my sketchbook that got bigger, and bigger, and bigger until it took over an entire page. There was lots of erasing and redrawing. Fortunately
mochi and
tarnac were there to smack me and tell me to leave it alone.
I might have this available at the MFF art show. I say "might", even though I fully intend to have it for sale, but I have an aversion to promising anything to being a "sure thing" when airline travel is involved. Maybe this windy wolf is conjuring up safe air for me to travel on? I hope so.

I really like this. It reminds me a lot of
kyoht 's older style that she used several years ago. This is meant to be a compliment too, as I prefer that style of drawing as compared to what she is doing now. The detail is wonderful and the character is beautiful. You should do more of these B&W drawings. I really enjoy them.

She inspired me a great deal during that time period, so I do take that as a compliment :) I admit I do miss that style (and I miss that most of it is no longer on her personal website, I regret not saving it when I had the chance!), but artists are always growing and changing in their styles which can be both a fortunate and unfortunate thing depending on your tastes. I sometimes wonder if people feel that way about me, but I'd hate to think anyone liked my art back in my VCL days XD Pure suck!
And thank you! I think I shall. If you have any ideas for anything you'd like to see from me (species, theme) etc, I'd love to hear it. I sometimes get stumped on what to draw at times.

noble werewuves with feathers and swirlies hurfadurf sooo cliche ;D. But really, I don't care whether people ever tire of this theme, I not so secretly still like it >__>. There's plenty of room for all kinds of werewolf depictions, snarly and sentimental, if people don't like one or the other, they don't have to look. The penciling technique on this one is tops :D. Wonderful job, very elegant.
I never would have thought to draw wind like that; and even if I had I'd probably have found a way to screw it up. O.O This is as awesome as my comments are late.
I think my favorite part about this is actually the look of happy wonder and appreciation on the wolf's face. [Looks like wonder and appreciation to me anyway.] Also digging the veins you put on all th leaves and the details on the jewelry and fur.
