Summer break is over, class is back in session!
Quick backstory.
A while back I posited to some of my patrons the notion of an art piece where everyone is a Starter Pokemon, and only a Starter Pokemon. Pikachu and Eevee didn't count. The rules were simple: the Pokemon they were was from the Generation they either first played/entered into the franchise, or the one that may be special to them. After that, it was one of the three Starter Pokemon that suited them best in terms of them as a person/personality/etc.
I never did finish that pic...
Anyway, as a challenge, I came up with some rules for this pic.
1. There can only be one selected Starter from a single generation. For example, if Charmeleon was selected, then Ivysaur and Wartortle could not be chosen.
2. The three types must be balanced, as in you cannot have 4 Fire-Types, 1 Water-Type, and 2 Grass-Types. The challenge here was that you had to think which Grass-Type, Fire-Type, and Water-Type you wanted and had to decide which one to drop. In this image, there are 2 Grass (Bayleef and Grovyle), 2 Fires (Charmeleon and Monferno) and 2 Waters (Frogadier and Drizzile).
If I wanted a Braixen, for example, not only would I have to drop Frogadier (because same Generation), but also I would have to replace either Charmeleon or Monferno to keep the Fire numbers balanced.
So yeah, challenge! :3
Also since this is High School, all mons are in their second form.
Anyways... The Charmeleon, Frogadier, and Monferno represent three of my $10+ patrons. The Bayleef is myself.
The Grovyle and Drizzile are basically Type/Gen fillers. :3
