So these past few days have been “fun.”

And by fun I mean goddamn awful, because there’s been something going on with the pipes, which caused my radiators to make a racket. And before you ask, no they didn’t have air bubbles. Air bubbles could at least be slept through.

If I had to compare it, I would say it was like being stuck inside an airplane, only the sound goes right to your head, and you can only stop it by constantly adjusting the radiators, and even then the quiet only last for half an hour to an hour tops.

Now imagine that noise turning on at 4 am.

I’m both lucky and unlucky that I haven’t been called in to work. Lucky because I could be home so a repairman could come by and check on things (they might have gotten something done today so it’s permanent for now? But I gotta keep an eye on it). And unlucky, in that I haven’t had work for 12 days now.

So I need to make a commissions list to see if that can help me cover rent.

But yeah. It’s not been a good start to the week.
