Cheris' shapeshifting powers let her appear as any mix of chomer and human traits, but usually she only looks like a woman from the waist up. Sustaining even a half form like this is taxing, so Cheris sometimes has to channel human magic through multiple tools to sustain it (That's why she has a knife in her mouth in the lower right image.)
Occasionally Cheris goes fully human but her nails always look a bit too sharp and she has hairy legs.
