My boyfreind mike in the fallen angel costume I made for him for halloween.
I made the bracers, the wings, modified the coat (heavily) and the pants. And did his makeup. This was before we got into the club. Got there a bit early so he started messing around on his phone.
Once again, wings were not intended to be terribly realistic in this instance, just something simple but nice. I learned that I need to 1- not wash the fabric when I do this technique, just use it as-is from the store and 2- use more spray adhesive when I go to stick it to it's backing. Thats why theres some rather unwelcome wrinkleing on the bigger "feathers" (and why it didnt happen on the moth wings before, because I didnt make either of those mistakes, they are quite saturated in adhesive and the fabric was left unwashed and a bit stiff to prevent stretching.
