Why make him fat:
1. Lavender was the only one of his brothers to win a draw in the Zeno Expo.
2. He is very animalistic in his fighting. To the winner goes the spoils.
3. His poisons could cause him to be extra hungry.
4. He attacked Future Mai's Resistance Faction for food.
5. When Gohan grabbed onto Lavender, flying around, could have had eating other people while Lavender was screaming with his mouth wide open.
6. Lavender could have eaten a number of things to get the right type of poison flowing through his body. A LOT of things.
7. While the poison primarily comes from his mouth, it seems he can produce the poison from anywhere on his body. Which means, the bigger the body, the bigger the poison blast.
8. He seems to have extra-long arms, which means no matter how big his belly gets, he can continue to eat without much difficulty.
9. Lavenders symbolize purity and devotion. Looks like he has a devotion to food.
10. Ironically, the "Lavender" is used to remove toxins. Lavender could take this notion to a while new level if he went around gobbling up every poison there was.
