Love your work PF, and I'll always be one of your happy customers. You do things just the right way with furry tickling art. I'm hoping you'll change your tactics slightly with regard to the written material as well.
Same issue here as with Paw Feather Publishing's earlier e-novel release, Man & Beast. Your very nice cover illustration of Animal Writes' story gives no indication whatsoever of the writing style or quality. If you're going to distribute e-novels, then a short excerpt of the content would go a long way toward improving sales.
I'd love to see a great furry tickling story, but I won't drop $15 on either of your current e-novel offerings sight-unseen, no matter how beautiful your cover art may be. I know nothing of Animal Writes or Duodoux or their work, and I'm not at all certain why you feel that written material should be treated differently from your portfolios. I've bought very nearly everything that Paw Feather Publishing has ever offered, and I would very likely purchase the e-novels as well if you'd only give us the courtesy of some short excerpts, in the same way that you provide sample images from your portfolio products.
The fact is that the vast majority of furry writing, and especially furry fetish writing, is absolutely horrible. There's no telling what sort of quality awaits the buyer of these e-novels unless you give us at least a small peek inside the cover. It doesn't have to be anything erotic or even particularly exciting, but allow us some small sense of what it is we're purchasing. Blurbs don't cut it.
