Ancient Genart - Computer Bugs
I drew this in 2000 sometime back when Gen was a cat and not a fox. She didn't even have my hair yet.
I distinctly remember drawing this after having epic bad luck with my computer, including two bad motherboards, a bad graphics card, and a lightning strike. I decided to personify my computer gremlins as little critters that I wished would leave my poor system alone.
I think this was an early attempt at brush inking, but also colored in my traditional marker/colored pencil style.

A few months back, I realized just how far we've gotten in terms of technology.
In one hand, I had a 1.4 MB, 3.5" floppy disk, and in the other, a 4 GB, 1" SD card.
I also saw an ad for a 2 TB hard drive for $99.99, and I'm pretty sure the 250 GB hard drive I'm using was around $200 back when my parents bought this computer (This computer is beyond ancient)

god the frustration lol. I've been torn recently between buying a pre built computer and building my own. So much nicer to cherry pick what I want in my own custom computer, being cheaper even but again... so much just can go wrong building it or soon after finishing. But meh, I guess if you go to comp tech school you kinda have to build your own just to say you did :P
