Because Pit lost his voice, he was assumed to be sick with a sore throat. A pic of Bau being attacked by the owner of the sub shop for harassing his employee, possibly his sister, I don't know, but the pic is posted on social media which will most likely cause a lot of people to hate him. And Bau suddenly getting a call from Karl. Bau not answering because he thinks Karl is going to yell at him for attacking his girl. He is absolutely scared completely.

He just needs to get it out of his system before dealing with everything.

I think the employee is his daughter. She looks much younger than him.

It’s amazing what a few added lines to a characters face can achieve. Some dashes here and there and an identity can gradually crumble into a weeping heap. Very subtle but hugely effective work. Good one, Gab 👍

The amount of thought you out into your story Gab is fantastic. You create an incredible closing effect with the light from the room being bright, to the sudden darkening as the phone goes off. You tell so much in a picture more than words. It shows how the social media world can break you. The loss of his friend's voice, then the outburst out at Cafe, with people giving their reaction, followed by the breakthrough from his friend. The phone lightning looks as if its erupting through the dark, Yet he doesn't know how his friend is going to respond, does he want to help or scold Bau further. Bau is really struggling, I hope he answers the phone. I think he's been shown a light out of this but he needs to take it.
