DeHavilland Mosquito Mk. XVI Detail
This is a detail of the warbird from a full picture, here!
Researching DeHavilland Mosquitos with the RAF Far East Air Force, I found this scheme here at a website dedicated to the CBI theater of war. It has a great overview of the Allied and Axis aircraft that fought over mainland Asia. Here is what the author has to say about this particular aircraft:
Mosquito PR Mk. XVI of 684 Sq. at Alipore in 1945. It may have served with 681 Sdn. also as 684 Sq. was formed from 681 Sq. at Dum Dum in Sept. 1943.
(I <3 DH Mosquitos!)
