Yeah xDD Our teacher gave us a homework to "design an animal, which is not a mammal, bird or fish, and show how they control their body temperature" =D Soooooo I drew a dragon xDD
It has a 3rd eyelid, which acts like sunglasses in sunny weather or goggles for underwater.
It can change it's body colour (from dark to light and all the ranges inbetween) depending on the weather. For example, if it's cold, it'll be dark, but if it's hot, it'll be light.
It has semi-webbed hands and feet so that it has the ability to swim well when it needs to cool off.
It has a crocodile-like tail (flat) for propelltion in the water.
It's wings and frills conduct the warmth from the sun to give it a larger surface area. They can also cool the dragon down (by flapping them) to cool down. The head frill is seperated into two pieces, so that it is able to flap (like the ears of an elephant).
It has a flexible ribcage so that it is able to flatten out it's body to absorb more heat from rocks/the ground.
It's bones are hollow and "honeycombed", so that it is light enough for flight. However, liquid can be pumped through the bones so that they are strong and heavy for diving great depths.
Also, I was lazy and used a lineart I drew previously for this pic >>> http://www.furaffinity.net/view/2547626/ .... but I'm sure my teacher wont notice xDD
