At the northernmost tip of the Second Continent, the city-spiers of Des'ir rise. These cursed creatures, abandoned by their God, have settled on the great cliffs that rise from the North Sea. For the rest it seemed impossible that anyone could survive on those grim stones, but the Des'Ires not only succeeded, but built their Kingdom there. Beyond the North Sea lies what is left of the Third Continent, the land of eternal snow - the Norn. What secrets the ice kingdom hides is unknown even to the Gods. It became a refuge for those who could not find a place in the rest of the world. That is where the dragons live. The Citadel... There is no place in the world like this... An eternal reminder of the Dark Gods, their fortress, their home… Now it's just an empty shell of black basalt and obsidian. The Order of the Guard of the Citadel wears an eternal watch on its broken parapets, ensuring that its secrets are secured.
