It's nice to see these two reconnecting and renewing their friendship/love. That last panel really tugs at the heart. It just shows that sometimes we are just so caught up in performing our best that we forget or neglect ourselves. Thank you for writing such a fantastic comic.

no better way to break the ice more then reminiscing of the good times, an the fun times you had with one another, but i hearing those words "i missed you" probably took him by surprise, especially with how most of the time we seen the big bears aloof like attitude to show this softer side, its a genuine show that the bear feels vulnerable presently and is leaning on the lion for comfort and protection
Ok I must say I did not expect that.
I was sure Holt would go over the rails a bit, but there was not even the least bit. And is inner monologue just shows how much he knows how broken Josh really is.
I think those were also the words Holt did not expect to hear that shortly after Josh's breakdown. So not as much bad blood between them than he feared. Still work to be done especially as Josh still needs to be fully aquainted with everyone and his new life, but progress for a more centered polar bear have been made.

That melts the heart so much in the last panel. They are so adorable together and are such good friends (whether they will admit it or not). I just love this page so much as it really is showing how much they care about each other. This page really does hit you in the feels. Some awesome story telling here and the art helps the story so much too. Everything works so well together.
