So…. A or B?

*sigh* this is why we do thumbnail sketches, otherwise you will look at your final image when you are “done” and then you get the thought “well, could it be better?”

Both images have merits, even though I favor “ B” because I want the feel of the danger therefore I wanted more of the teeth to be shown, I still kind of like the stronger side profile of “A”.

Took inspiration from Ikenaga Yasunari, who’s works does have a lot of Japanese traditions in his contemporary paintings but also from western influences as well (I see a bit of Alphonse Mucha in his works). As well as Satoshi Kon, especially to “Perfect Blue”

I wanted to make this image erotic, but leave it ambiguous wether or not the action is consensual or non consensual. I feel like the relationship between males and females are nowadays at odds, especially with a lack of education or proper up bringing of people of either gender on either side, as well as a lack of understanding or imagination to imagine themselves as the other gender (in the US, we are currently dealing with anti abortion and taking away a woman’s choice wether or not they want to be a mother of a child they did not want or are not ready for or able to take care of). I guess I want to show the dangers of non consensual transactions and lack of communication or miscommunication.
