I had the idea for this commission a whiiile ago back in Winter, but had to wait so I could collect some pics for references. Originally I wanted to photograph a bunch of local species around my hometown, but travel got in the way which is why there are a bunch of poppies and daisies in there.
The scene was originally going to be set on a stone wall in an overgrown grassy field near my house, but I found a ton of cool stone architecture while hiking up to the Bastille that was too good not to use instead!
