🤍Overall Personality: A little timid at first glance, but beyond that she's actually pretty active and energetic, albeit a bit awkward. Cinder is still working on her social skills, but there's no doubt that she's extremely loyal to those she's closest to. Although at her worst she can get somewhat irritating due to not fully understanding personal space, as she'll follow friends around like a lost puppy. Communication and patience is key with her, she needs to be told when she's crossing the line or else she won't know what she's doing wrong, figuring it out by herself could take awhile.

◽Rouge - Their relationship started out a little rocky, she felt she was just babysitting when Cinder was first introduced, constantly having to redirect her in missions. She was kinda caught off guard with how thankful she was though, and ultimately ended up as the mom friend anyway. Although it's not entirely one sided, Cinder watches her back as well in case Rouge gets too caught up in her gem hunting to realize any potential danger.

◽Omega - Cinder had never seen a robot before Omega, so she was pretty curious upon meeting him. Being a robot, he was not prepared for the onslaught of questions this little creature had, he felt like a walking search engine. Although once she started to understand Omega a bit more, she grew acquainted with him and treated him like another friend. Just a big metal one.

◽Shadow - He tolerated her at best, when they first met he was pretty keen on tossing her into an open volcano. He wasn't having any of her constant questions when he was already too busy trying to figure out himself. They've gotten closer since then, and share a mutual respect for each other. There's plenty of similarities between the two albeit with their own differences, for one they're both not very sociable outside of their clique. Could be more than friends, but they need to seriously work on themselves first and understand what those feelings are, especially since they're blissfully unaware what love fully is.

◽Sonic and Co - She's definitely a little intimidated by the rest of the group, not that she doesn't want to be friends with them, but the amount is a bit overwhelming for someone with so little social experience outside of her family. Knuckles and Amy having such quick to violence tempers especially doesn't help, although she could get along with Sonic or Tails. Give her some time, she'll get there.

▶ ▷ Summarized Biography ◁ ◀

Cinder comes from a small and discreet village that practices a variety of magic. Within the village, everyone is categorized into a class based on whether they're born with magic abilities(highest class), are given magical powers later on(middle class), or have none at all(lowest class). Cinder was the only child among her siblings born without any magic, which caused a lot of tension within the family.
Her father at first wanted nothing to do with her, but Cinder's mother wouldn't allow him to just toss one of their kids away like trash. He'd resort to hiding her existence from the rest of the village, until she was old enough to have magic transmitted into her being. Until then, he would train her harshly to prepare her.
He spared her little rest, making almost everyday grueling for Cinder. Most of her siblings pitied her, and would comfort her as best they could. Others took after their father and ignored her completely, usually caught up in their own training. As for her mother, she never had a say in anything, all she could do was be there for her when she needed it.

Receiving her magic was the most agonizing thing she had to endure, as transmitting magic isn't a painless experience. A mark is burned into the new beholder, the design varies with the power they receive. All at once, the magic flows into the seal wherever it may be, and if not done properly could kill or immensely injure the receipant. Even after all of that, her father still wasn't satisfied and continued to belittle her.
Cinder was only 10 years old when she finally couldn't handle any more of her father's torment and ran away from her village permanently. She was stranded in the forest, alone with very little knowledge on how to survive besides the training her father had taught her. That was until she ran into an odd stranger, that would take her in and show Cinder kindness that she wasn't yet used to.
They would later become her adoptive parent, albeit unofficial, Cinder formed a strong bond with them nonetheless. They were the only parental figure she had after leaving the village, and they'd spend years teaching Cinder everything she needed to know. It wouldn't last however, one day Cinder woke to find them missing completely. She'd search desperately, but found no trace of their whereabouts or where they could've gone.

How Cinder meets the Sonic cast and what her objective is heavily depends on the universe. Either she's searching for her lost adoptive parent, trying to hide away from her old village, or a mix of both.

Powers

Ice Magic
Essentially she can manipulate ice to her will, including a blue fire that's extremely cold to the touch.


Physical Strengths:

⚪ She's resistant to the blue flames to an extent. She'll set her hands ablaze in the ice fire and use them in close combat.
⚪ Another powerful move is forming ice blocks on her feet and kicking her opponents, albeit it slows her down by a lot.
⚪ Huff and puff is a move in which she uses her frost breath to freeze her foes in place temporarily. It's pretty weak and only for targets in a close range.
⚪ Uses her ice as a quick method of transportation. Either she freezes the ground and skates, or creates a path of ice midair to slide around on.
⚪ Her tail is as powerful as it is fluffy. Often uses it in fighting, and is strong enough to hold a ton of weight.

Weaknesses:

⚫ The magic seal on her back is the key to her ice powers, a strong enough blow to the back could easily incapacitate her magic use for a small period of time.
⚫ She's got no experience with chaos energy nor the chaos emeralds, so she'll have to rely on others for that matter.
⚫ Overuse of her ice could cause frost to form on her body, limiting her movement. Continuing despite that could lead to her freezing herself.
⚫ Does poorly in heated areas, she practically feels like she's melting.
⚫ She's not as fast as everyone else on foot, and will lose stamina quickly.
⚫ Does terribly in vehicles, she's got motion sickness.



Mental Strengths:

⚪ Despite being impulsive, she's quick witted and goes straight for her target.
⚪ Good luck trying to talk her out of anything she's set her mind on, she's as stubborn as a mule.
⚪ An extremely loyal companion to have.

Weaknesses:

⚫ She's extremely clingy once she gets close to someone. She can't help it, she just doesn't want to lose them.
⚫ Very quick to rush into things due to her impulsive nature.
⚫ Still pretty childlike and naive.
⚫ She needs to learn some more social skills and cues. Sometimes she doesn't know when to take a hint, and can get annoying if she doesn't understand what the other wants.
⚫ A little too selfless, she'll toss herself in harms way if it means saving someone.

◽She's a pescatarian, meaning the only meat in her diet is fish.
◽Had long hair when she was younger, but she cut it once she ran off so it wouldn't be in the way.
◽Regrets wearing zippers, she constantly gets her fur caught in them.
◽It's hard to contain her floof in clothing, which is why the front of most of her shirts are open.
◽Her tail is just a free portable chair/storage. Although sometimes she loses things in that absolute mass of fur.
◽She sheds her weight in fur, be fully prepared to find hair everywhere. Nothing is safe.
◽She's somewhat color blind. She can only see in shades of blue, grey, and yellow.
